Most college Freshman spend a majority of their time wondering what major they should declare. Should they go into business, accounting, law, medicine, fashion merchandising, teaching or a host of other options? The sky is the limit as far as jobs go, the deciding factor for most people though is whether or not they support a family on the income that field provides. My husband would love to be a wild life biologist, but he couldn’t have the lifestyle that he would like from that income. He likes to travel, he likes his big truck, he likes his toys and there is no way he could sustain that lifestyle on a wild life biologist income. He choose business and is very good in his field, he has been able to sustain the lifestyle that he wants by being a good businessman.

Does law with it myriad of options sound intriguing? Does sticking up for the rights of other bring pleasure and satisfaction? Does seeing justice served and inequality righted bring great joy? Then perhaps an immigration lawyer in Miami might be the perfect career choice. Does helping sick people get through hard times bring satisfaction and contentment? Than a career in the medical field could be the right fit. Some folks are not adapted to work with people all day and would be better suited to graphic design or art. Does music fill your soul? These and many others are the questions that have to be asked and the answers have to come from deep within. What will bring happiness? The old adage is to choose a job you love and you’ll never have to work a day in your life. While this is true it is also true that most work is just work, a means to an end, but it is important to choose a field that you are passionate about or at least have interest in.

Doctor, immigration lawyer or Indian chief? The sky is the limit, potential earnings are greater though when the career and personalities peacefully cohabitate. Some people dream of being one thing and end up being another and are still happy with their choice; the more education, the more choice, the more choice the happier and more satisfaction a job can create.
